An Unforgettable Trip
Last month, I took the place of my friend to accomplish a project and broke away from busy work. The
possibility that I would visit England became true. By coincidence, I received a fax written in English without tense
errors from my cousin, Yang Ming, from Sichuan Province, inviting me to take a trip to England after his wedding.
To our delight, we got an opportunity to go to the United Kingdom for nationwide sightseeing last month.
With everything well arranged, we were thrilled to set off.
On the pane, the guide clarified several confusing questions. The UK consists of four parts, among which
England is roughly divided into three areas for convenience,Once there was quarrel and conflict among them. To
their credit, the four countries used the same currency, but they have different institutions and educational
systems.
On arriving in London, the center of national government and its administration, we were attracted by its
splendid architecture, and art collections, which included folded royal uniform, famous people’s statues and old
pots, some of which slightly broke down and the oldest ports constructed by the Romans. The countryside
scenery was so beautiful that it was beyond description, which made us unwilling to leave.
The trip to the United Kingdom was enjoyable and worthwhile, which not only enrich my knowledge but also
