【辨析】1. a用在以辅音音素开头的词前,a box, a university; an用在以元音音素开头的词
, an umbrella, an honest man。以下两个句子帮助你记忆(根据之后单词的读音而不是字
母)用a还是用an的特殊情况:

3. 词之the示“”:When I met her for the second time, she was old.

4. most之前有the时,most表示“最”之意;most之前有a时,most表示“非常”之意,

注意词在英英语中不可数,在美国英语中常用复数,但不能与不定冠词连用。

注意1.词不接不定的复合结构语,不可说:He accompanied her to go to the
station. to go 去 掉 2. accompany 正 意 是 : to go somewhere with someone,
especially to look after them,所以词不表示在某陪伴某人。
accomplish[ ] vt.,完accomplish ones purpose /
We tried to settle the argument but accomplished nothing. 我们试争端,但没起什么作用。
【辨析】accomplish, complete, finish achieve
accomplish成功成预期的标、任务等,其后常接task,aim,journey等名词;complete
事情地完使某事完足缺义; finish多指
常事情的完结束,其后常接名词;achieve多指困难成宏伟计划或大
