1:The Bedtime Frog
1:Posy was going to stay at Pip’s house.
2:She packed up her suitcase very carefully. She didn’t want to forget anything.
3:Then she got on the bus. She was very excited.
4:Pip was really happy to see Posy. “Hi, Posy!”he called.
5:“Hello,Pip!” giggled Posy.
6:Pip and Posy had lots of fun. They played with Pip’s cars.
7:They played with the farm.
8:And then they played a game called “pirates in hospital”.
9:They ate spaghetti.
10:They had a bubbly bath.
11:They brushed their teeth.
12:And they read a funny story. After that, it was time for bed.
13:“Night-night, Posy,” said Pip, as he cuddled up with his piggy.
14:“Sweet dreams, Pip,” said Posy.
15:They switched off their lights.
16:Pip was very nearly asleep when he heard a voice.
“Froggy!” said the voice.
17:It was Posy. “I’ve forgotten Froggy,” she sniffed.
“I can’t sleep without my froggy!!!”
18:Pip turned his light back on again.
“Would you like this teddy, Posy?” he said.
19:But Posy did not want Pip’s teddy.
“It is not green,” she said. “My frog is green.”
20:“Would you like my dinosaur?” said Pip. “He’s green.”
21:“No!” said Posy. “That’s dinosaur is too big and too scary!”
22:“What about my frog money box?” said Pip.
23:“No!” said Pip. “That is the wrong frog!”
24:Posy cried and cried and cried.
25:Oh dear! Poor Posy.
26:Pip thought for a moment. Then he did a very difficult thing.
27:“Would you like my Piggy, Posy?” he said.
28:Posy stopped crying. Piggy was an extremely nice pig.
29:“Yes, please, Pip”she said.
30:Soon Pip was asleep. And so was Posy.
31:And the next day, when Posy went home to her house, she found he frog....
...exactly where she had left him! Hooray!
2:The Snowy Day
1:It was a very snowy day. Pip and Posy wanted to go out and play.
2:So they put on their woolly jumpers...
3:their stripy socks...
4:their puffy coats...
5:and their waterproof boots, their cosy scarves and their woollen mittens.
6:Then they went out into the snow.
7:Wherever they walked, they left big footprints,
8:They caught snowflakes on their tongues.
9:They even made snow angels with big wings.It was such good fun.
10:Next, they pulled their sledge up to the top of the hill...
11:...and zoomed down the other side.
“WHEEE!” they shouted.
12:Then Posy had an idea. “Let’s build a snowmouse!” she said.
13:“But i want a snow rabbit!” said Pip.
14:“Snow mouse,”Said Posy.
15:“Snow rabbit,” said Pip.
16:Posy was so cross with Pip that she threw the snowmouse’s head at him.
Oh dear!
17:Then Pip was so cross with Posy that he pushed her very had and she fell into the
snow.
Oh dear!
18:Now Pip and Posy were very cold and very sad indeed.
19:Poor Pip! Poor Posy!
20:Then Posy did a very kind thing.
