surgery and burns care to patients. One Saturday, we
received hundreds of injured.
It was chaos. Our team went to the emergency
room. One of the injured was a three-year-old girl. She
was breathing. But as I rolled down her dressing, I
found that her entire left thigh was open to the bone.
Seconds later, the doors crashed open. Four to five
injured people were brought in, most of them were first-
aid responders.
